ISPs and Advertising Standards

| | Comments (2)
I suppose it comes as little surprise to many people to discover that there were several complaints about Irish ISPs to the Irish advertising standards authority. Adrian Weckler covers some of the low points for both UPC (NTL / Chorus' new owner) and Digiweb. What's surprising is that there aren't more complaints. I guess a lot of people don't believe in using official channels

Hoe bad would you say standard are compared to the UK. Many UK providers are suffering bad press through failing to provide the speeds promised and not offering unlimited access/downloads as promised. Complaints have made their way to the governemnt but unsurprisingly they don't care

I'd say it's about the same

If you have a look at http://www.irishisptest.com you will find a lot of very upset users from pretty much all of the ISPs
